The foundation is stone, which keeps the entire building cool in the summer months.The roof sheathing is tongue in groove douglas fir. Install special order vinyl (historic yellow) siding, sides & back of entire building 2018 Since furnaces are all direct vent, removed all four chimneys down to the roof line, and closed up openings with sheathing & new slate (thicker gauge & dark color). Installed a new snow slide above (backyard) "courtyard" and a dry well at base of "courtyard" (channel water for Spring thaw / "mud season") 2020 Comalli Electric replaced all 20 smoke - C02 alarms Ran check (replaced all the batteries) of the hard wired duel sensor system again in May 2023 2023 Passed City of Pittsfield 5 year inspection Over the years the owner has resided in all of the apartments, so the renovations have been well done, and on-going since purchase. The (irreplaceable) douglas fir floors have all been sanded & refinished.
